Key Responsibilities

• • Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain general ledger accounts by recording financial transactions.
  • Classify and categorize financial transactions according to accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Prepare reports on financial activities and account balances.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform other bookkeeping tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address discrepancies.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and practices (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or Ind AS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience

This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role. Recent graduates with a strong foundation in accounting principles and a willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
