Key Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to a designated team or department within American Express.
    • Manage calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements as needed.
    • Draft correspondence (emails, letters) and prepare presentations as instructed.
    • Maintain filing systems (physical or digital) for efficient document retrieval.
    • Manage inventory of office supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering.
    • Coordinate travel logistics (booking flights, hotels) for team members (if applicable).
    • Answer phones and respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Process expense reports and invoices according to company policies.
    • Prepare reports and presentations as required.
    • Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office assistant role (preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a willingness to help others.
  • Adaptability and the ability to learn new tasks and procedures quickly.

Experience

This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or office assistant role. Recent graduates with strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude are also encouraged to apply.
