Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable File Clerk to join our growing remote team. You will be responsible for receiving, classifying, filing, and retrieving various documents related to BHEL's operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and classify incoming physical and electronic documents according to established filing systems
  • File documents accurately and efficiently using a digital document management system
  • Retrieve documents promptly and efficiently based on requests from various departments
  • Maintain accurate filing records and ensure the proper indexing of all documents
  • Perform data entry tasks to update internal databases with document information
  • Prepare and distribute reports on document filing activity as needed
  • Assist with document scanning and digitization projects
  • Securely store and manage physical documents according to company guidelines
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all sensitive documents
  • Perform other clerical tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a clerical or administrative role (or relevant coursework for freshers)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office preferred)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new filing systems and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
