Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for a variety of bookkeeping tasks, ensuring the accuracy and adherence to accounting principles. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Prepare financial reports, such as general ledgers, trial balances, and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or potential errors
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments to obtain and verify financial information
• Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices
• Utilize accounting software and technology to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting standards (a plus)
