Job Summary:

We're seeking an analytical and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic sales analytics team. In this role, you'll leverage your data analysis skills to gain valuable insights into market trends, customer preferences, and sales performance. You'll work closely with sales teams, marketing teams, and other departments to translate data into actionable strategies that drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activity, and customer buying behavior.
    • Analyze market data to identify sales opportunities and potential customer segments.
    • Develop and maintain market research reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Sales Data Analysis:
    • Analyze sales data (sales volume, market share, customer demographics) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare reports and dashboards to visualize sales performance and key metrics.
    • Perform sales forecasting using statistical models and historical data.
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to develop data-driven sales strategies.
    • Analyze the effectiveness of existing sales campaigns and recommend improvements.
    • Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to maximize market penetration.
    • Track and measure the performance of sales initiatives against established goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Effectively communicate complex sales data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Prepare clear and concise presentations to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, and product development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel, SQL) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
    • Excellent understanding of statistical methods and the ability to interpret data.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • A passion for the automotive industry and a keen interest in sales and marketing (a plus).
