Summary

As a Sales Associate at Tata Motors, you'll be the face of our brand, interacting with customers through various channels and fostering long-lasting relationships. You'll identify potential customers, understand their driving needs and preferences, and present the most suitable Tata Motors vehicle from our passenger or commercial vehicle range. Your strong communication skills, product knowledge, and ability to build rapport will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through various lead generation activities.
  • Qualify leads, identify customer needs, and recommend the most appropriate Tata Motors vehicle.
  • Provide comprehensive product knowledge and answer customer questions with confidence and enthusiasm.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person product demonstrations and test drives (as possible).
  • Negotiate and close sales deals, following established sales processes.
  • Prepare and finalize sales contracts and other necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain and update customer records in our CRM system.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and foster brand loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Tata Motors products, features, and promotions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for exceeding expectations.
  • Strong product knowledge and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license (may vary by location).

Experience

This is a great opportunity for both recent graduates and experienced sales professionals. For freshers, a strong academic background, a genuine interest in the automotive industry, and a willingness to learn are highly regarded.
