Job Summary:

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Cafeteria Worker to join our remote team. As a Zomato Cafeteria Worker, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure our virtual team members have access to healthy and convenient meal options. This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to a vibrant and fast-paced company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meal Planning and Preparation:
  • Collaborate with meal service providers or caterers to curate menus that are diverse, healthy, and cater to dietary restrictions.
  • Research and develop recipes for in-house meal preparation (if applicable).
  • Manage meal inventory and ensure timely restocking.
  • Prepare meals as per planned menus (if applicable), following hygiene and safety protocols.
• Delivery/Pick-up Coordination:
  • Coordinate meal deliveries or pick-up points with vendors/caterers to ensure meals reach team members on time.
  • Communicate any delivery delays or changes to the team promptly.
• Communication and Customer Service:
  • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding meal options, dietary restrictions, and delivery schedules.
  • Address any concerns or questions from team members regarding meals in a courteous and professional manner.
• Hygiene and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment.
  • Report any sanitation or safety concerns immediately.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in food service or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent customer service.
• Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., email, calendar).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote working environment.
